No — and that's the point. Accreditation is based on meeting our 8 Standards of Trust, not on paying a fee. You are not charged until your application is approved. If you don't qualify, you pay nothing.

No. The OBB seal on accredited business websites is a live, hosted image that includes your unique business ID. When a consumer clicks it, it verifies against our database in real time. If someone copies the image without a valid accreditation ID, it won't validate — and we actively monitor for unauthorized use. Businesses caught using the seal without an active membership are reported and listed as non-compliant.
Always. Consumers can search the directory, verify businesses, view complaint history, and file complaints at no cost. Consumer protection is the whole point — we never charge for that.
Yes, you can cancel at any time. Your seal and directory listing will be removed upon cancellation. Annual plans are not refunded pro-rata after the first 30 days.
